80 DATWC: THINGS CONCERNING YOUR ARTWORK + UPDATES[[ EDITED !! [11/10/2012] ]]
We will now call this "DAT WC" because it stands for "80 Days Around the World" and sounds like "dat ass" but pronounced "dat world countdown" XD
If you are reading this, that means you where sent this journal in your notes and are required to read this thoroughly.
We have noticed that people havent been following the mandatory rules correctly. We made it a test to see if you read the rules thoroughly, and some of you havent. Some of you where stating that you saw that "there was no theme". But we hid the theme in the rules to see if you would follow them.
Since it was kinda mean of us, we apologize on that part, but to be fair, you should always read the rules if you wanna do things correctly. We arnt pointing any fingers, we are simply stating to please draw your submission correctly.
Our theme was:

The ongoing problem with Hetalia Fanfictionshetalia reader-inserts/fanfics revolving around the school shooting on Friday.
Maybe not even JUST Hetalia. It's other fandoms as well.
I HONESTLY think that it's just as bad as making reader inserts/fanfics of freaking 9/11.
I just... I can't even...
Because I'm SURE that a freaking personified country stuffing his face with a freaking BURGER and declaring himself a hero is going to save the children from a crazed gunman. //total sarcasm
The real heroes, are the teachers who did all they could to protect the kids. Like the one teacher who hid her students in the closets and cabinets, and told the gunman they were in the gym before being shot in the head.
Lists of reasons why I pretty much left the fanfic part of the fandom:
crazy fangirls
disrespectful fanfictions/reader inserts
failure in grammar and spelling
unoriginal writing
people stealing other people's work
but above all: people making a joke out of serious situations, like 9/11, the shooting in the movie theater a few months b

Rest in PeaceLately, Ive been praying trememdously for those children and adults who lost their lives in the shooting on Friday. It really breaks my heart, they were so little and didn't know what was going on until it was too late. My heart goes out to the families too, and also to the teachers who sacrificed themselves to protect the children. And the man who did it, is getting what he deserves. Even if he isnt alive anymore. The children were innocent, they didn't deserve at all to die so badly. But some how, they can rest in peace.
